I have been published in the San Diego coffeehouse newspapers North Park News and The Espresso. In the 1990s I was employed at Distributel, a silk screen studio located in the Kearny Mesa suburb of San Diego, designing custom logos for promotional products and sportswear and at Wherehouse Records as an airbrush and 3D artist, creating oversized promotional displays promoting new record company releases.
I spent a year in Portland, Maine and created spot illustrations for The Casco Bay Weekly and have recently been contributing to Michael Koehler's Mortimer Megapress of Tacoma Washington. I've also designed ads published in Seattle's free weekly The Stranger.
I designed the logo for The Neptune Music Company in Seattle’s University District (AND created the outside wall signage) and have designed album covers and posters for music acts and events. I have also worked as a custom picture framer, comic book inker and sign painter. - Chris
